Journal of Management and Organization Studies (JMOS) is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes theoretical and research articles, case studies, research notes and book reviews that can contribute to the existing literature by adding something new on all subjects within the scope of management and organization. JMOS is a platform where researchers from all over the world can publish their original works in Turkish and English on the subjects of organizational behavior, organizational theory, strategic management, human resource management, management history, and business ethics.

Studies that deal with management and organization issues and themes by taking national and international context into account, especially those focusing on the Turkish work setting, fall within the scope of JMOS. JMOS, as a platform of original knowledge that can contribute to understanding and solution of problems within their context in the field of management and organization, provides academicians, practitioners, students and policy makers with both global and local perspectives.

All studies with different research approaches and methodologies are welcome for publication in JMOS.  It aims to develop the interaction and knowledge-sharing among the management and organization community in an interdisciplinary perspective.

Why was needed JMOS? Though academic studies in the developing countries including Turkey starts to constitute a considerable accumulation, the platforms on which such accumulation is reflected do not appear to be satisfactory enough in quantity and quality. It is evident that there is a clear need particularly for a platform on which the studies that prioritize quality by being concerned about original contribution to the existing literature are brought together. JMOS can be considered as part of the effort to fulfill this need.

JMOS is published twice a year, in April and October.
